ALT Powertron Medium Voltage Capacitors are suitable for use on Shunt Capacitor Banks. If your requirements differ from those given in the table below, please let us know.
Outdoor applications include the following styles:
Pole type Console type Substation and Filter types
Capacitors for indoor duty are also available.
Most substation and filter banks are protected with an unbalance relay scheme, generally using an ungrounded, double Wye bank arrangement.
Our Shunt Capacitor Banks are suitable for easy installation in the field.
